Course Description


You want to make some information available on the Internet. To do this, you might want to design and build a website and upload it. The features and functions in Dreamweaver 8 will enable you create a web page to suit your requirements.

Course Objective: You will describe the basic functions and features of website development using Dreamweaver 8.

Target Student: This course is intended for the web developers and designers who are familiar with working with the Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems.

Prerequisites: The user should have an understanding of how to use Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems.

Delivery Method: Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery learning model with structured hands-on activities.

Hardware Requirements

  • An Intel Pentium II (or equivalent 300+ MHz) processor.
  • At least 96 MB of available RAM (128 MB recommended).
  • At least 275 MB of available disk space for software installation, and an additional 10 MB for the course data files.
  • A 256-color monitor capable of 800 x 600 resolution (1024 x 768, millions of colors recommended).
  • A CD-ROM drive.

Platform Requirements

  • Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000, Windows 98, or Windows NT with Option Pack 4.

Software Requirements

  • The latest version of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  • Macromedia Dreamweaver 8
